What attracted you to the role at saintnicks?
I wanted a new challenge and decided that returning to a creative agency environment would do that for me. Each day is different, and I love being surrounded by talented and like-minded people, which is exactly what saintnicks offers.
How do you stay up to date with all the latest in the marketing world?
I follow industry experts on LinkedIn and Instagram and try to spend at least 5-10 minutes of my day having a quick scroll – usually on my train journey into the office!
What’s a campaign you wish you’d made?
One that immediately comes to mind is the annual Spotify #Wrapped Campaign, a yearly event that brings user data to life by letting you share your music from the past year. The FOMO-effect it generates is amazing—making you want to jump in and download the app if you haven’t already after seeing your friends’ music trends. Very clever!
Spotify has proven that sticking with your proven formula for success can work wonders for your social strategy.
What would you like to bring to saintnicks during your time here?
I’ve had the opportunity to work both in-house and for agencies, working with a variety of brands—from a latex mattress company to a private chef experience company. This experience has taught me to be incredibly versatile, always keeping each brand’s social media objectives at the forefront of my mind. My creativity and ambition drive my work, and I aim to reflect this in everything I do for our clients.
How do you like to spend your time when you’re not working?
I like going to the gym (when I’m feeling up to it) and trying out different recipes to cook. Truthfully, you’ll usually find me reading a book, planning a holiday that I can’t afford, or designing my dream house on Sims.
With a background in content, what’s your favourite past piece of work?
I had the opportunity to be part of the ‘Grow Your Home’ campaign for Oak Furnitureland. To promote their new ranges, I managed the influencer marketing strategy to boost brand awareness. This involved everything from influencer outreach and developing briefs to brainstorming content ideas for collaboration posts. The campaign was incredibly rewarding, particularly when seeing the results from our hard work.
To round things off, where’s Bristol’s best hidden gem?
It has to be Little Hollows Pasta – if you haven’t been there before, you’re missing out!
