The challenge

We were appointed by Bank of Ireland to launch a new product, First Start, which gives first time buyers access to the housing market with the help of a co-borrower. More than 80% of Bank of Ireland’s business is through intermediaries, so we needed to develop a campaign that would target intermediaries and cut through in a saturated sector. Our challenge was presenting the size of the opportunity, whilst also reflecting Bank of Ireland’s ‘Easier for you’ proposition.

Approach

Focusing purely on Bank of Ireland’s intermediary audience, we created a persona in conjunction with the client. This allowed us to identify the things that mattered most to them: sales opportunities and happy customers. We needed a campaign that truly reflected the size of the opportunity that First Start presented. And so, MORE was born.

MORE is a multi-channel campaign designed to drive customer loyalty. Employed across Bank of Ireland’s website, printed collateral, events, media and customer incentives, the result is a supportive campaign that gives intermediaries MORE.
